Private City Hall and Vasa Museum
Departing from the pier with your professional guide, you will drive up to Fjallgatan, which offers a splendid panoramic view of Stockholm.
Continue to the imposing City hall, known locally as Stadshuset and renowned for its architecture, murals, and the site of the Nobel Prize Banquets. Completed in 1923, this magnificent fortress-like building is the result of a 12-year effort by the combined elite of Swedish construction workers, sculptors, artists, and craftsmen. The main features are the two courtyards and the numerous splendid halls. The two most famous of halls are the Blue Hall, where the Nobel festivities unfold each year, and the Golden Hall, which is renowned for its mosaics.
After your tour of City Hall, you will drive through the city center to the neighboring island of Djurgarden. Regarded as Stockholm's outdoor recreation center, Djurgarden is home to the Grona Lund Tivoli, the Skansen open-air museum, and an extensive park. While on the island, you will visit the fascinating Vasa Museum and see the warship Vasa, which sank in Stockholm's inner harbor on her maiden voyage in 1628. Its discovery in 1956 and subsequent salvage in 1961 is one of the most important events in marine archaeology. Painstakingly restored to much of its original magnificence, the Vasa is an authentic piece of living history. From the Vasa museum, you will be driven back to the pier.

Mr. Miller is the former Executive Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Abercrombie & Kent, the World's leading luxury travel company. In that role, Mr. Miller was responsible for contributing to Abercrombie & Kent's international growth through the development and acquisition of tour products and travel experiences around the world with a specific focus on cruising and land based experiences. Prior to joining Abercrombie & Kent, Mr. Miller held a variety of executive positions with Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises for more than a decade. These positions included Vice President of Guest Sales & Service, Vice President of Brand Development, and Vice President of Onboard Revenue (which included shore excursions). Mr. Miller also led Celebrity Expeditions, a collection of outstanding and unique tours around the World.
Michael Bonner
Mr. Bonner has over a decade of experience working in the cruise industry in a variety of roles for both Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. and Viking River Cruises. Most recently, Mr. Bonner was the Chief Operating Officer for The Scholar Ship, a Royal Caribbean program aimed at providing college students onboard educational programs in conjunction with enriching shore excursions around the world. Mr. Bonner also helped co-manage Viking River Cruises U.S. Operations, and he ran the corporate, strategic, and deployment planning functions at Royal Caribbean. While at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was responsible for forming Royal Celebrity Tours, Royal Caribbean's land-based tour operation in Alaska, which takes cruise passengers on multiple day tours through the interior of Alaska either before or after their cruises. Prior to working at Royal Caribbean, Mr. Bonner was a consultant for Booz Allen & Hamilton.
